Think and Grow Rich Mastermind Tips from Andrew Carnegie
–Test #343 “RELAX”
Hill: I’m sure, Mr.
Carnegie, that everyone prefers dealing with a man who is frank and
honest. In the long run, people who
think they are deceiving others are only deceiving themselves. But, Mr. Carnegie, what is number twelve in
this series of desirable personality traits?
Carnegie: “I always
feel sorry for the man who cannot or will not relax and laugh when it is proper
for him to do so, for laughter is the finest of mental tonics. I am not so sure but what it is also a good
physical tonic. A keen sense of humor,
no matter how it is indulged, provides relaxation. The people of America spend millions of
dollars annually for the circus and the stage and screen plays, to provide such
an escape.”
As you Mastermind, take the test, do you know how to relax
when it is proper to do so? If it is
true that laughter is the finest of mental tonics, how often do you
indulge? My goal is to have a daily
BELLY LAUGH, often times I have to resort to laughing at myself, the actions I
have taken or should have taken. How do
you relax? W. Mitchell shares how you can relax in any situation you find
yourself as you speak to share.

I really feel sorry for those who don't smile or laugh or relax. Sometimes, they think they can't. But I think it is a conscious choice they are making.
ReplyDeleteMark, thanks for the comment, personally, this is why I set a goal to have a good belly laugh daily and also to smile, and speak to others and to encourage them to smile, and speak back. For example, I am smiling at you right now and prayerfully, you can feel it.
