Today looks can be deceiving.
While holding an elevator door at a conference hotel, a maid came into the elevator. I spoke to her; she spoke to me and then she asked, if I was attending a conference, I said yes. She then asked, “Which one?”I replied the American Bar Association. Assuming that I was a lawyer, she then said, “That has got to be a tough job, because the bad people look and sound good, and the good people, look and sound bad.” She then got off the next floor; I missed my floor, while pondering her words.
Looks can be deceiving
