Napoleon Hill: You speak of paying your men who render more service than they are paid for, all they earn. If you do that, how can they render more service than they are paid for? It seems that there is an inconsistency in your statement.

Andrew Carnegie: “But little imagination is needed to see that the man who renders more service and better service than that for which he is paid thereby places himself in a position to benefit by this same law. If a man rendered only as much service as he is paid to render, then he would have no logical reason to expect or demand more than the fair value of that service.
